for peeps with big hands it helps, such as myself. Also if you have done a lot of practical or combat shooting you break some of the base plates. I have yet to break a pierce grip, but i can't say the same for the factory ones. but with big hands it adds comfort and also helps index magazine orientation for combat reloads.

Yes..... in most cases a crook can just re-regiser on E-Bay, hoping to continue ripping people off. However, they must use a new identity or their I.P. address will red flag. Like I said earlier, E-Bay is not all bad. You just have to be careful to not buy from new sellers with low feedback. My general feedback is only 35 (all positive) but I have been a member since around 2000. I have only had the one bad experience (cost me $85) and I have found many bargains in the meantime.

By the way.....SSHHHHHH about where you will be traveling to.....Did you say you were going to Canada ? Yeah that's where I heard you say

N A Rush,
Call your cedit card company and tell them you want to do a Charge Back on that purchase to PayPal. I have been told from some sellers that people have done a Charge Back up to 3 months after an auction has ended. This basically just makes his PayPal account negative that amount.
Other than that, you can always effect his future business under that name - I have done this to sellers I have had problems with. Compose a simple email detailing all the problems you have had with this seller. Then browse his auctions and send that email to everyone that is bidding on his items and advise then to cancel their bids or to not bid higher. Eventually you will get to him, but the bad news is that they usually just start a new account.
For future auctions, wait no more than 2-3 weeks for delivery. And if its shipped Priority Mail from USPS, it should not take more than 3 days! I send everything I sell on ebay that way and still have not had anything take longer than 3 days. Just FYI...

Sounds like he might be trying to rip you off or maybe not... here is my USPS story. To make a long story short, I had to get an important document and some money to a party in a couple of days. So I sent a USPS money order vis USPS priority mail with a tracking no and insurance. 4 or 5 days latter, no document and no money order. I go see the post master. He checks the tracking no, it show it being accepted but nothing else. So I wait another day. I go back to the post master he has me fill out a claim form, great so how long does this take I ask... he says... "We hold it for 60 days before we do anything, then it will take at least 30 more days to be processed." WTF, Over! So why did I pay for insurance? They hold it to see if it turns up. So then I ask about the money order, how do I get my money order... they will not do a stop payment for 90 days and if some crook cashes it before then... sorry for your luck.

A friend of mine advised me to call the postal inspector office. I did and my mail turned up where it was supposed to the next day..

If the guy gave you a tracking no, I doubt he is a crook. Why go to the trouble of mailing something to you to rip you off. If he gave you the tracking no, you can check it yourself..

But here is the real thing, you can not depend on USPS for crap, and if something goes wrong... sorry for your luck. FED EX! UPS! Their stuff gets where it is going.

I think you will find that you can still get ripped off and get no help from PayPal even with their buyers protection. In my case it was older that 45 days. They have plenty of loop holes but it does make it more convenient.

Thanks Pride!
I thought he was member here. In the auction after mine he referenced a thread from our forum, but I couldnt see the whole url and the link took me to contact seller.

That auction he referenced in the Trading Post is still available for viewing but not from his feedback page.

His profile also confirms OC, CA. Thats good!

In my case my IP is dynamic or changes with each login (ADSL). I also wanted that way to protect my privacy not illegal activity like he would be doing so there is always a work around. Someting I learned in the military.

I agree! My feedback is only 40 since 2001 most coming in the year. I got one neg from a bad seller when I left a neg feedback. This my first bad experience for roughly the same value; nothing I cant afford however its the principle of the matter and that he relisted the same item the very same day and then didnt deliver on that either.

ROFLOL... My brother is getting married and I am #2 groomsman. Is is USMC and lives near the seller as his betroth live in the general neighborhood. I will be sure to follow up will the OC Sheriff. I wouldnt want to do something stupid for $87 and lose my security clearance and job for that. As for Canada may go there to visit my daughter who is with her mother for the summer. She was born in Canada.

In this case I dont think I waited that long but he seemed up front and provided the info. I also had some business travel trown in there too. When I got back and went to pick up my mail and spoke to PMG about claims is when everything started to fall apart. I also have never had any lost mail before and didnt know the process. There was a holiday and I was asked by USPS to wait a few etra days etc. etc.

Many lessons learned!!!
