Good luck! Just know that polishing is a time consuming procedure when using a dremel tool and liquid polishes. And thanks everyone for the kind words ! Todd ![]()

In another answer, no its not really feasible to say you could get a superior mirror finish with just a dremel. Some people will say , yes you can, but I ll take any one of my parts and compare then to anything else done with a dremel and you ll see what I mean. I use some Baldor motors for buffing machines. I have professional grade wheels, compound and many many years of experience polishing and plating items. Alot of the quality of work is from experience. Its an art form to do it correctly. But for the general purpose of making it shiny, yes a dremel will get you close, but when you want the best possible shine and quality, you wont get there with a dremel , I ll guarantee it. Your best bet is to start with Black or Brown wax compound and work down to a blue compound. Liquid polishes are only a pain and good for hand polishing out a part. It wont stick to your buffing bob or felt like the wax will and that's why it takes forever to get a good shine. Dont get me wrong , several guys on here have had good results with the liquid, but that isn't what professionals use for polishing. By the time you buy the correct equipment to really get a professional type shine , your better off having someone else do it. Not a plug for myself. Just an honest answer. Unless your going to polish your entire collection of guns ! Todd As a side note..... This is a glock slide polished out to a mirror finish. You definetly cant get this type of flat smooth work out a dremel. A barrel is small and will easily hide waves you are creating with dremel tool. The longer and flatter the piece, the more you would notice the distortion.

Let me vouch for Todd's (g29cc) work BigDinTexas. I tried to polish mine with Flitz and a dremel tool. I could make things shiny, but no mirror finish.. ![]() ![]() I got frustrated and sent my parts to Todd aka g29cc. He did me right for a very fair price. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
