XD 40 SC hurts my finger
Im not really whining about it but I do want to get the issue addressed. I know theres more kick with a sub 40 but I really dont think thats the issue. I feels like its being pushed back into my finger. I have shoot many subs and I own a 40 SC and 9 SC and the 40 is the only one that seems to give me this issue. I love shooting it but it kinda sucks knowing that my finger is gonna hurt for a few hours after I fire off 50 rounds. I saw that a few people have had the same issue ...... any more fixes?????

JK! You didn't mention which finger? Your trigger finger? What feels like it's being pushed back into your finger? The trigger guard? Please clarify....

Sorry. Its my righ hand trigger finger. It feels like the trigger or the trigger safety is being pushed into my finger after I fire. Its kinda hard to explain. It can be felt after only a couple rounds but it is consistant.

i had the same problem when i had a Block-40 cal (i mean Glock, hehehe)....simple solution, just get yourself a roll of that white sport adhesive tape at the drugstore and wrap it around your trigger finger....it worked for me with good results, my finger did not hurt when i taped it up and went shooting the 40

There was a thread recently posted about this same problem or at least it sounds to be the same problem. It is not normal and the person who posted returned his xd to springfield and they fixed it for him.
