Suggestions Please
I currently have TRU-GLO TFOs on my XD 40SC and love them they are great for these tiring eyes day or night. I have also heard good things about the Meprolight night sights. I am going to put night sights on my XD 45C. My question is should I stick with the TFOs or go with the Meprolights on my XD 45C ? The 40Sc is my primary CC weapon and the 45C is my home defense and truck back up gun when traveling. Are the TFOs durable enough for the 45C ? They have been no problem on my 40SC but have read some rants here about them on the 45 Models. personaly I am leaning towards the TFOs but can only afford to do this once. Thanks for your help, Johnny

How long have you had the TFO's? Did you install them yourself or did someone else do it? I am considering getting some for my 40sc...

I have the TFO's on my .45 Tac and have had no problems. I have had them on the gun for about a year and they are fantastic. If anything I would say that the .40 SC has a sharper recoil and would have more impact on the sights. just my 2 cents nateroach

They are both great sights. Since you already have experience with the Tru-Glo, I would stick with what you know. That said, I have Meps on my HD gun and I couldn't be happier with them.
