Well, if you have all metal parts refinished (this includes the trigger group) and then have the trigger job done, you'll just end up having the new finish removed from the trigger group. That's pretty self-defeating.

My next gun (hopefully a subcompact when we get CCW in this state) will be going to Mac's Shootin' Irons when I can get the money. I recommend looking at his services. He was the first to offer refinishing for us HS2K owners and several folks had stuff done by him and were very satisfied.

Macs has done two of mine and a third is getting done now. he does great work and is very reasonable.[/quote]

(There are a plethora (I love that word) of refinishers out there. I just happen to like Tripp. Good folks, great work, and quick turnaround time. I had my slide Cobra Coated.
