I just got my fullsize xd40 bout a month ago and have put about 400 rounds through it. I've been told i am a good shot, My groupings are tight but my shots pull to the left. I was just wondering if anyone can help me with this.
THANK YOU Paul |

Shooting to the left
Quote:
Have you bench tested the weapon with a sled? Usually if shots are going to the left, it indicates a trigger slap or pull rather than squeeze.

Does anyone have that handy pie-chart printable targets to give the chap? I do know low and to the left = jerking the trigger.
Edit: I'm a little late on that one. |

Rifle & Pistol Targets They are about half way down the page. One is for left handed shooters, and one is for right handed shooters. |

Thanks a lot. I wasnt expecting such a quick response. I am right handed. I will try the targets and squeeze more than jerk. Thanks again

Also try putting less finger on the trigger... if it gets worse try more finger on the trigger.
Sometimes to much finger causes you to push left.... also is your off hand strong on the grip.... your trigger hand should be less and the off hand should hold more pressure pushing into the trigger hand. Good Luck... takes about 500 to set up your muscles to get it right.
