4" XD45 Compact first shots
Well, I picked up my new xd this past weekend and finally got to shoot it. I normally only load swc with a VERY reduced charge of Bullseye and didn't think they would feed very well from what I've heard. Just in case, I went ahead and loaded some Remington Golden Sabers I had laying around with a stiffer charge and it shot great. Just for kicks, I tried the swc's and they fed great! They even cycled flawlessly which really surprised me. By the way, I love this new gun!!! I'm half tempted to sell all of my other pistols for more new XD's!

The XD 45 Compact 4" Service model would be a great choice you would never regret. I love mine and the more I shoot her the better we both get. Soon I will be adding night sights to it as well, quite posibly a trigger job and have the barrel refit to increase accuracy.
