I got the XD9SC today!!!!! well, sorta...

I paid for it and shot it at least... felt sooo nice in my hands, but saying farewell until thursday almost broke my heart The guys up there were pretty cool and said I can come by and shoot her anytime between now and then. Got a whole bunch in the red "10" area, but my shooting skills still need much improvement! I guess shooting her today makes the wait a little easier to bear. I definately have to give thanks to the forum for wealth of info within it! Pics to follow late next week!

Congrats, I just picked a XD9SC yesterday. Fortunately I live in a state that respect's my right to purchase a pistol without having to endure a waiting period.

Congrats on the new XDs guys. I carry a XD9SC and I couldn't be happier with it. It is easy to conceal, comfortable to shoot and very accurate for its size.

That gun is in a class of it's own as far as I'm concerned. Mine never failed once, for any reason, over 2 years of ownership! Super easy to conceal too.

For you guys that conceal on a regular basis, which mag are you using? the 16rd or 10rd?

My XD9SC broke me completely away from Glock subcompacts. I carried a Glock 27 for 10 years then switched to a Glock 26 2 years or so ago. With the glocks, I hated the grip but loved the reliability. Even with the Pearce extensions they never felt truly "right". I finally did what I should have done already and bought the XD. OMG what a difference! I love, love, love my XD9SC . Accurate and utterly reliable right out of the box with a grip that feels like it was made for my hand. I couldn't be more satisfied. You made a great choice!
