I bought mine at Sportsmans Warehouse, they were going out of bus. by me so I really got a steal on mine. I know the other folks on here will chime in to help you out, but that sound about like an average price.

Welcome to the forum.

$520 local sounds all right to me. FFL transfers here are $20-30, then you look at shipping also for OL purchases. Have you looked at Gunbroker to see what pricing is running?

Jayb, Do you have a Sportco in your area? Up here in WA Sportco seems to have better prices. For example, I just purchased a XD9SC this last weekend at Sportco for About $430 +tax. Sportsmans Warehouse price was $480.

If you are in the Portland area Call Keith's Sporting Goods. I have found them to be a bit cheaper than SW.

$520 sounds like a fair price to me. (I paid $530 for my XD 45 Service model about 3 months ago). For what it's worth, I also own a Glock 22, a 3rd generation; bought it last month and enjoy it as much as my XD!

Good luck with your search and purchase!

Actually sounds a little high to me, but only because I had SW do a price match for me to another shop in town. Their original price was $539, but I just purchased Tactical in a 9mm... $469. This is in CA.

$499 for a 4" Service w/thumb safety at a local retailer around me. $470 for the one w/out thumb safety at a different store.
