Finally got it!!!! (pics)
Well, after my usual dealer (now former dealer) jacked me around for a month and a half, I finally ordered my XD45 from another local dealer. It came in on Thursday but I wasn't able to pick it up until today becuase I was out of town this week for work. Talk about a tough one to wait out! Nonetheless, I finally got it this morning and couldn't be happier. I also picked up a light for it. I told my wife I'm done buying for now but we'll see how that works out.... Now the only thing left to do is load some ammo and head to the range!

good luck on being "done buying"....it just happens....i started out with "just wanting a stock XD-9"....now i have a somewhat modified XD, a .22 rifle, and i picked up a new 590A1 12 Gauge shotgun.

i allready have $300 worth the upgrades coming for the shotgun, and im planning to buy an AR-15 by Fall 2008.

all of this since 12-20-07 hahaha


seriously...its an addiction....mine isnt as bad as some people's on xdtalk.

I know how it goes. That's what happened with my AR that I was going to add things to "over a period of time" which turned out to be about 2 weeks. I have bought at least 7 new guns this year so I'm really going to try to be good. There was a S&W 686 SSR at the shop today that caught my eye though............Maybe just one more after all!

It was $522. I didn't think that was too bad. I could have gotten it a little cheaper from the place I usually go down in KY but even by the time I paid the $10 transfer fee and figured in the gas, it was cheaper to go this route.

I could have gotten the one I really wanted with night sights for around $604 but no one had them in stock and everyone said, "I have no idea how long it will take before Springfield sends me one. It could be tomorrow or two months from now." I just couldn't wait anymore!
