Getting frustrated finding ammo for my XD45LE - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

Everyone in town has speer gold dot ammo but it's hardly range ammunition and it seems like I can't find anything else like WWB or Federal. I'm seriously thinking about selling it or trading it for a .40 tactical

My local gun shop/sporting goods store has WWB .45ACP for $14.95/50.
They have WWB .45 GAP for $14.95/50. Talk to your local stores, see if they will start carrying it.

It seems like (At least to me) that there is no problems with them carrying it but they all don't seem to order enough of it to stay in stock. I called Bill Jackson's in Clearwater, FL and that was more or less what the guy had said to me on the phone. I'll probably go and buy a few boxes of speer gold dot just so I can get some rounds through my pistol but at nearly $1 a round, it's not feasible for me to do this often.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to see if I can convince my local range to start carrying it when I go today if not, i'll start to shop online.

It is nice to be able to walk into walmart and buy a couple boxes to shoot on the spur of the moment. Sometimes you just aren't prepared, and that ruins the mood.

Only thing nicer is being able to walk down to Academy Sports and pick up a box of 50 9mm rounds for $3.86. Lets hear it for Blazers! :P

While checking the ammo pricing on the .45GAP at CTD, I also
checked in on my favorite round, 9mm Magnum, and it
to is about the same price as the .45GAP.
