Thanks bruce21b.

PS. I bought this gun from bruce21b. Great price. No hassles. Everything went as planned. Highly recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.

my 40SC looks like the one on the right, it was baught new last month. to me it looks like its stamped v.s. the other one that looks machined. my guess would be the stamped part was cheeper to make.

Thanks.
Sorry, no pics, but both of mine look like the one on the left. I have a 40 Tactical, made in 2002 and .45 service, made in 2007.

I found the same thing a few weeks ago and posted here about it:

XD 9 Ejector Differences

The newer XDs are coming with a stamped sheet metal ejector on all models.

My brand new 2008 XD-45 4" Compact had the cheapo stamped narrow ejector. It not only looked flimsy, it was loose-fitting too! I did not feel confident having that cheap part in my otherwise solid pistol. I have already replaced it with the more stout cast version. This link explains how I performed the swap using a few gunsmithing tricks.

Thumbs up XD ejector

My XD 40 Tac has the thinner ejector- bought it April 2007.
