A1C Donald C. Brown,
I thank you for your service. I spent July 1996 to July 2005 at MacDill. I retired 31 July 2005. |

It's pretty much silly to have full auto on a handgun. First, in case of, God forbid, accidental discharge, you risk loosing not only one of your thumbs but all ten of them (at least). If you're shooting at the bad guy and u miss, you're stuck with an empty mag - and it took you just a second to waste all of it.
Need I mention accuracy goes down the drain when firing full auto from a 4 or 5" barrel? Now, if this was implemented in HS/XD, by croatian experts 1) Every round in that salvo would end up in the same spot 2) No recoil 3) S.T.A.S -Smart Thumb Avoidance System in case of negligent discharge (the bullet would self-destruct before reaching your thumb) Last edited by Breadfan; 04-06-2008 at 12:49 PM. |
