The Springer Precision Bar does not need to be drilled and tapped. It has some oversized areas that you take down a bit in order for it to fit your gun and run 100%.
As for the barrel, I will put our barrels up against any XD barrel on the market. I have shot them all. OS

Not to hijack this thread, but , is the Springer kit ordered from PG fairly easy to fit for someone very mechanically inclined?
I will admit I have never done this but is it difficult or fairly easy?

Just to make it clear, the bar Dark Knight has pictured with holes in not our trigger bar. The one with holes in it is prone to cracking at the holes.

Thanks for the input, I think I will make my purchase on Friday. I was thinking of buying another xd, but would rather buy more upgrades for what I have. Soooo Pistol Gear has more of my business. (I like buying from the same place as much as I can). The trigger bar seems easy, how are the trigger springs to install? I am pretty mechanically inclined and have some patience. Any tips or detailed instructions out there? I have done a search on the forum but did not come up with what I was looking for. Sorry for all the newbe questions but I like to get as much info as I can when making a purchase.
Thanks again in advance. |

Diverdown, I bought the kit and trigger bar and installed it before I ever took my XD45 Tac to the range the first time. It took about 2 hours to put it in but it was the first time I had taken the XD totally apart and I took it slow and did alot of polishing. Nothing is hard about the job just take it slow, You will love the results. As I have said before it will have the trigger that it should have come with from the factory. Oh yea almost forgot, be ready to enjoy the looks and comments from other XD shooters that DON'T have this mod when you let them try your trigger pull.
