XD 9mm 4'' Service IWB Holster $20-30range
Hello everyone its been awhile since I have been on. I am going to take the ccw class and plan to carry my XD9mm IWB. I don't want to go bigger size in pants, and wanted to know what ways and holsters carrying this way have worked for you.
I am seriously looking into the Bare Asset by High Noon holster Bare Asset $24.95 not bad then 8bucks shipping. What are your thoughts and views have any of you carried a IWB without getting the pants larger and then having that baggy saggy effect? I am 5'11 and 215lbs athelitic build and wear jeans and button up shirts. |

I don't have any experience with that holster, but it does look like a decent deal. I use a Crossbreed Supertuck and couldn't be happier. It cost a bit more, but is worth every penny. Check 'em out if you are not stuck to that ~$30 budget. As far as getting bigger pants, it really depends on how you wear your pants in the first place. I can't carry at work, so I don't worry about my khakis. When I am not at work, I am usually carrying in jeans. I haven't bought any new ones, but I guess mine were kind of loose to begin with. It seems that after I wear them once after they have been washed that they loosen up a lot. I am like you, I like to try and save money wherever possible, but let me say that if you are serious about carrying, whatever you spend to carry well is a good investment.

You're not going to look saggy or baggy by going up 2 inches on your pants size. IWB is the most common carry method because it pulls the gun into you. OWB works but requires a really sturdy belt.

I don't have any experiense with that particular one, but it you're open to others I would also reccomend you look at the KNJ nylon holsters. I bought one for my J-frame just as a temporary solution until I found a better one I liked, but I ended up keeping it because it worked so well.

I happen to have that holster, practically new. I got it with a gun I bought. It seems ok. One thing I see I like is that it's pretty thin. It won't add so much thickness. Just two layers of leather. Speaking of thickness, the Crossbreed Supertuck is way thin. You have one layer of leather and one layer of Kydex. To me, it's probably the holster that adds the least amount of bulk among the IWB ones.
Edit: If you're really set on that Highnoon holster, PM me and maybe we can agree on a price.

Triple K Concealment Inside the Pants Holster?
Have been searching for a decent holster without paying an arm and a leg and wanted to know if anyone has tried this holster out. Looks like a nice holster for the price also considering High Noon's Bare Asset for my Springfield XD 9 4" service pistol what are your thoughts. Found this holster on Cheaper than dirt.

I have a High Noon IWB and it is not very comfortable. The end of the barrel poked into my hip. I carry a XD9 SC @ 3 O Clock. I now have a Milt Sparks that I can carry all day and forget I have it on.
