I dont have this problem with mine. I practice a very deliberate trigger reset and I never have had the trigger push my finger forward. I have 5k+ through my SC.40 and have soft girl hands and have never had a blister.

Now loading my own mags with out a tool is a whole other question.

I took it apart and looked at it all, nothing jumped out at me that could be the source of the problem. Doesnt mean there isn't one. So, I boxed it up and took it to fed ex. I hope to hear from springfield next week.

For those of you with the same issue. I would give springfield a call, if you want to wait and see what i find out I will keep you all filled in.
Just curious if you heard anything back from Springfield on this..

Just got it back today actually! I even had time to make it to the range before my midnight shift.

Here is what they did, I hope I say this right: apparently the trigger safety was contacting the barrel lugs. So they removed some of the metal from the trigger safety and polished it as well as the barrel lugs. They also went ahead and filed off some of the metal where the trigger safety contacts your finger.

Range Report: I am 10 TIMES more accurate now. Not anticipating my finger getting popped. The trigger is great, no slapping, popping, just smooth. I am wondering if they lightened it up for me too, cause it sure felt lighter. Lets just say I am certainly glad I did not get rid of this gun. If anyone is having these problems, I would just go ahead and send it in to SA. I got my gun back in only 9 days! I also had some XS big dot sites installed. I was only charged $105 for the night sites, you cant beat that.

It is a brand new gun.

Well called up Springfield and mine's on it's way there now. Hopefully it turns out as well as yours did.

On a side note what's up with FedEx? Those guys are crazy. You have to ship priority overnight with them. Go figure it's their most expensive way to ship overnight. They wanted $68 to ship so I went to UPS and they gave a whole bunch of overnight shipping options. Ended up costing me $42. Not bad since Springfield said they would reimburse up to $50.

Yeah, who knows about these shipping places. I have had UPS refuse to send a fire arm for me, but Fedex will. Yeah, its real cool that springfield refunds shipping costs. I found out that you will receive your shipping money at the end of the current month. So, dont worry if there is not a check or some other form of payment in the box with your gun.
