Grouping Problem!!!

I have around 400 rounds put thru my new XD 40 SC and everytime I have went to the range the gun shoots the 1st 3-4 rounds (off sand bags) about a foot low and 2-3 inches to the left! After that the gun shoots awesome and will put them right where you want em! Has anyone else had this problem or heard of this happening to anyone else? I have had a few other people shoot the gun also and it shoots the same for them also! If it was happening shooting the gun off hand I would assume it was just me doing something wrong but we are shooting it off sand bags! Any info or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here's a link that I've found useful. Someone told me that a lot of folks take a little while getting used to the XD trigger. I've got a PDF version of this target - PM me with your email address if you'd like it.

There is no type of "warm up" period with the XD. Have you let someone else shoot it "cold", or tried a different technique than the sand bags?

Ahh, low left........I finally fixed that problem last weekend. I ready everything I could find on here and ended up doing a lot of dry fire practicing.

Yes!!!

I have let several different people shoot the gun cold with the same results! Two of the people I had shoot the gun are police officers who can shoot a pistol! After the 3-4 shots it zips them right where you want them. I figured it was just me at first but after I had a few different people shoot the gun with the same results I am just shaking my head wondering what the problem is. I have cleaned the barrel after each session so maybe it doesnt shoot good on a clean barrel? I didnt clean the barrel this time so I will see if that might be the problem! I have had rifles that dont shoot good on a clean barrel but that is just on the first shot. Thanks for the info everyone I really appreciate it and I will give you guys the report after I shoot it again! Thanks again
