i would say if you dont have a dremel or dont like to do the do it your self type of jobs then spend the $30 and have that guy do it. it will most likely be better and if you dont have the dremel you will be over the $30 after you buy one let along the polishing stuff. which cost like $12 a bottle (i cant remember exactly how much but i bought the green and the blue and the blue one isnt really needed at all)

me i just like tinkering so i personally wouldnt have someone else do it.

oh yea and i didnt only do the barrel i did basicly EVERY part i could and it did smoth up the trigger pull a little

I'm going to attempt this myself. As a matter of fact, I'm going to polish everything I can possibly polish on my XD40. Just for the hell of it.

I'd like to know that as well.
I'm wanting to polish some parts on my XD45c.
I want to do my barrel, guide rod end, maybe some internals and pins.
I would (and might) send it off to G29cc.
But I'd like to learn to do it myself so I can touch things up if needed.
I already have a cordless Dremel, I just need to figure out which polish to use.
I will probably go with rogerxd45's advice and order some Heavy Metal Polish.
His stuff looks pretty good.

I just got 2 Glock barrels back from Todd and they they are magnificient.
He engraved 9x19 on one and the other is a .40.

I don't know if he was pulling my leg on the .40 ( cause I won a contest he was having) and got a freebie on that one.

Anyways instead of saying on top of the hood .40 S&W it says .40 S$W.
I thought it was pretty funny cause no one will probably ever notice it but me.

Send Todd your barrels he does good work.
