The whole "extreme" thing is worse. (XD=Extreme Duty.) Lame branding, and almost turned me off to the model line, but I quickly got over it!

Maybe because in a situation reguiring "tactics" it would be better to have a longer sight radius.It would be more forgiving in a high stress tactical situation like clearing buildings. And it gives just a bit more velocity to aid in expansion.
