XD .45C DE and crayola {pics}

Saw a thread about the Crayola crayon trick and decided to try it out. She might not be as pretty as a Block but she is looking better now.

I wonder if somethign like "whiteout" would work and be a little more permanent?

Well it is recessed. You would have to scrub it out with something fuzzy like towel.

A more permanent option is fingernail polish. You spread it on and let it semi dry. Then you wipe it with acetone and a rag. There are some threads on glocktalk about it. I thought the acetone would hurt the plastic( polymer) but I have been assure gun cleaner contains acetone PLUS some more hardcore cleaners.

I have been doing the same thing for years on all of my guns. If it starts to chip and fall out just color it in again. Mine get re-done about every 6 months or so.
Most of them are white. My Bushmaster is done in LIME GREEN glow in the dark.
