Canyon Creek trigger job

For anyone debating on whether or not to get a trigger job....

Just do it.

I thought I had pretty good trigger function from the factory (in fact, the factory trigger pull was about 4.75#), but after Rich from Canyon Creek got a hold of it....
Wahoo, what a difference! The break is so smooth, all of the slop has been taken out, and the pull adjusted to 3.5#.

Thus far, I have just dry fired in the living room, but I plan to go to the range tomorrow. I'll post something about my findings when I get back.

You'll find no better service than at Canyon Creek. I sent my XD out on Tuesday, and got it back on Friday. Outstanding customer service, Rich. Thank you.

I thought all the members of this forum already had a Canyon Creek trigger job done to their gun.

Well...it seems I am now full-fledged.
When do I get to learn the secret handshake?

I wish Ca. would let their CCW holders adjust the trigger pull. We have to keep ours stock.

I love it, but it will take a few more rounds to get used to the break. It is very clean, and there is no slop. The range we went to today does not allow holster work. I can't wait to take it to a TXDPSA meet.

Anyhoo...this was my last target. I was ready to leave, as it was getting hot out there. So my shots were a bit more rushed...I was slapping the trigger toward the end.
