Anyone ever use Independence Ammo?
Well..i've only taken my new XD.40 to the range once and was using Independence ammo (recommended by rep at Sportsmans warehouse) and had 3 or 4 FTF...after i was done with my 100 rnds of that i purchased the house range ammo...PMC and had no problems. I think alot of people dislike PMC but it worked better than that independece. I did notice that the independence round has a wider flat tip than did the PMC...think that is what was causing my FTF's?
Anyone ever use Independece ammo? and did you have any FTF's?

I used it with no problems in my 9mm Service XD. I had to stop using it because it didn't make minor power factor in USPSA.

Rented a xd40 with independence ammo--11 jams out of 50. Hanging up on the extractor.

I have a box, but I haven't fired any yet. I'm still usin up my Blazer aluminum's and my Blazer Brass. Then it's on to the Ind. ammo. I don't really like the sound of this tho. I guess we'll see what happens. For cheap ammo, the Blazer's are awesome. I've gone thru about 150 rds of it, w/ no problems at all.

300 rds thru 2 XD-9 Subs. No hitches no troubles no errors.
Shots about the same as WWB 115.

well...i'm going back to the range soon...i won't use independence, but perhaps cci or wwb...so If I have more FTF's what do I do? send it back to SA? I hope I don't have anymore cuz I hate being dissapointed!

When I first got my xd I had a couple of ftf at first I thought that it was the gun, or even the ammo, after about 500 rounds later of independence, pmc, wwb, blazer, and federal hydra shocks I have not had any more problems.

No problems here - other than price
The closest range near me requires me to purchase my ammo from them and all they stock in 9mm is Independence ammo. I've put over 800 rounds of that through my XD and the only FTE I've had was when I was trying different stances - I think I was limp wristing. But, that was only 1 out of 800+. I prefer WWB, but only because it is $11 per 100 at Walmart vs $8 per 50 for Independence at the range.
