New XD9SC Price

I've been checking around and can get an XD 9mm SC for $495.00 new before taxes. What do you think of the price? I know that it's a little less than the $530.00 that I paid for my XD.40 SC. Any pros & cons of getting the 9 if I already own the .40 SC?

I'd say the only downside will be that you find yourself ignoring the .40!

no tax no shipping all you pay is your ffl so maybe 10 more dollars and you get night sights.... couldn't find just the regular 9 sc but didn't look to hard

Not bad. They're going for $420 here in Columbus, Ohio @ Vance's - but pretty much everything's cheaper there.

Other than cost of ammo, why do you think I would be ignoring the .40?

It is not a bad price by any means, but there are cheaper options out there. If supporting your local dealer and not hassling with a FFL is what you want, then go for this deal. If you don't mind FFL/Shipping I would buy online. At my local dealer the XD SC in 9mm if $484.

I bought mine, brand new in box, with XD gear for $419 shipped from gunbroker.com. I think you are paying to much.

I'd rather have my XD and not need it, then need it and not have it....
