South Paw Holster For My Xd
I'm having trouble finding a left side holster for my 4" XD9 service. I really want something that has a tight profile so I can use it for CC. I have been looking at the Black Hawk CQC but can't find a left hand model. I like the trigger guard lock feature and how the index finger releases it. Just seems much more natural -vs- a thumb style. I would even consider an IWB style.
Just wonder if anyone can give me some suggestions and possibly model #'s and steer me in the right direction as to where I can look at and get one. Thanks |

MidwayUSA — Shooting Supplies, Reloading, Gunsmithing, Ammunition, Gun Parts & Rifle Scopes has alot of left hand holsters. For OWB I use a Galco Matrix MidwayUSA - Galco M7X Matrix Belt Holster Left Hand Springfield XD Polymer Black it's out of stock but it never takes very long for them to get more in. Both Comp-tac and Crossbreed offer their holster in left hand also. I have a Crossbreed Supertuck on the way in LH. Here's their links:
Comp-Tac CrossBreed Holsters, Innovative holsters for concealed carry-1911-Glock-HK-Sig-Taurus-Kimber-Springfield-Colt-XD Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters Also check out: DonHume.com

I own the Crossbreed for deeper concealment and a BladeTech for OWB carry during Winter.
I really like the looks of that G-Code holster, lots of flexibility simply by adding the IWB option and then change it as needed. I'd be interested to hear from more people that have this holster and a couple of the option |

The Blackhawk holsters exist - I picked a local dealer (heck, the one I bought my XD from a few weeks ago) and ordered in the one I wanted. (The SERPA paddle + belt model) Haven't gotten it yet, but should be nice. |

Check out the Galco M7X Matrix for OWB and the Galco Stow & Go for IWB. I'm a lefty and I have both.

I bought one of these: BLACKHAWK ! *BlackHawk CQC SERPA Holster - Active Retention - Matte Finish Springfield XD model, lefty. comes with BOTH Paddle and Belt hookups - requires a screwdriver to remove 3 screws to swap, and has 3 different angles. I've used it for OC'ing and CC'ing (with light jacket/sweater or T-Shirts) Works great! Ordered it locally - you can just order it direct, too.
