Surprised nobody has said this yet. Must not be too many Glock owners reading this thread.

Literally just sprayed the whole thing down (any moving parts/metal parts) with the CLP, used some compressed air to move it into nooks/crannies. Let it sit overnight, took it out in the morning and blew it all out. WOW. Talk about some nasty gunk, you wouldn't believe what came out of my pistol. This was *after* a very time-intensive cleaning session w/ the normal cleaners/oil. I can only imagine what it would have been like before. I plan on getting some mpro7 because I've heard it'll clear even more gunk out than the breakfree. I'll blast it out with mpro7, compressed air to clear the gunk, blast it out with breakfree, compressed air to spread it and remove excess. Shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes to do, and gun will be extremely clean as well as well-lubricated. Oh yeah, don't forget to run some copper solvent in the barrel w/ a bore brush/snake. The CLPs won't get it all. I'll probably just use the good ole's hoppes for that. |

Hoppes #9, Remington Oil, CLP every so often, a little swab of grease on contact points.
