Pricing Suggestions...
Just wondering...
How much do you think I could get for a LNIB XD 9 Service high capacity in dark earth tone. Comes with everything it came with when you buy it new (2 magazines, holster, mag holster, manual, etc. etc.) and also 6 BNIB high capacity magazines. Has seen less than 500 rounds. I know someone out there has a book with the values of used guns, but I also wanted to take in consideration the 6 NEW high cap magazines. |

I would suggest selling them as separate items. The gun and its kit as one item and the six magazines as another. Most buyers want to buy a gun and not the whole lot.
Just from seeing what most pre-owned XDs go for, I'd say maybe $400-425. Anything more than that and you'll be close to competing with NIB prices from gun shows. At least in my area. The magazines are like $20-25 new. I'll give you $30 for two.

I agree. I would sell the gun with it original gear. I would then sell the magazines in separate lots of 2 or 3. On the gun itself, $425 seems about right. It really depends on what is available to the buyer.

Are the magazines 16 round hi-caps? If so, I might be interested in buying them all. PM me a price and we'll go from there.
As for the gun itself, they go for $429 new locally. So, I would say a stock, used XD-9 for any more than $400 wouldn't be worth it to me (especially with shipping and transfer fees). Last edited by Hooz; 03-18-2008 at 08:06 AM. |

$424 new around here. Like Hooz said, I wouldn't bother for anything over $400. Honestly, I probably wouldn't bother for anything less than $375. Of course, this is non-night sights. Book values aren't worth much because they're national. If you're selling it locally, it only matters what the prices are around you. Check your local shops & forums and make a determination on the price that way. I would definitely offer 2 prices though. One with the mags & one without the mags.

They go for $580 here, but I got both of mine new on gunbroker for $400, so I obviously wouldn't bother paying any more than that without the extra magazines. I would also recommend selling the magazines separate as well. Good luck with it!
