Just found out

Found out my XD40 is at my FFL. How in the world can a guy sleep tonight when he knows that he has a gun waiting for him at the FFL, especially an XD.
I will give update when I get it.
I may have to take a snort (huge) of Nyquil tonight so I can sleep.

Actually I am picking up 3 guns tomorrow. 2 youth models for Rhett and the XD. Rhett is 7 and he is going crazy not being able to shoot a coyote with me. He will be able to before too long. He loves shooting my AR.

In Christ,

Song Dog

I feel your pain, when a new gun comes into my dealer i run from work so I can pick it up .

My kid is looking for his first yote too, Im hoping to get one for him in May when they are pupping. I have a pup distress call and I found a den during deer season. Im going to put him about 50 yards off the den and try to call her out.

You are gonna murder a mother coyote while she has pups and leave them orphaned? You are a cruel, cruel man!

I was excited too, getting my first gun, which was also my first XD. UNTIL I popped a conditional on my FDLE check (Florida does their own, not NICS). Took 5 WEEKS of waiting to get it cleared. After that got an FBI UPIN number. Now it's 30-seconds to 5-minutes max to get cleared!

No, Im going to shoot them too if they come out
I know this is a gun board but some of us use guns to hunt and kill critters. Coyotes are very damaging to other animal populations. I hunt them, out west they shoot them from helicopters.
