New Bi-tone .40

I haven't had an XD for awhile now (needed money, had to sell...it wasn't pretty), but recently I walked into my local gunshop, and they had a nice Bi-tone XD40 in the case, and I just had to have it. After checking it, it only came with the 10-rd mags. I jokingly asked the clerk if they had any in back that hadn't been handled by the masses, and lo and behold, he found one, and with the 12-rd mags to boot! Needless to say, my checking account is now a few hundred dollars lighter, and on Tuesday I'll take possession of my new baby. She is really sweet. I'll post the obligatory range report after I get to shoot her.

Now, where do I get the Don's Guide Rod thing? It appears Pistol-Gear.com is out of stock.

Well, I picked it up last night. It is sweet! This is the first bi-tone I've had, and I'm very impressed with the look of this finish. I hope to get to shoot it this weekend, and will post a range report at that time. I'll also try posting a pic or two tonight when I get home from work.
