Just got the slide back from the Springfield Armory Custom Shop with the Trijicon night sights installed!

Looks really good and they did a great job. It was only around 8 days from the time I mailed my slide to the time I got it back on my front porch.

Definitely recommend the Custom Shop if anyone is thinking about getting night sights installed!

Awesome!
I have Meprolights on my .45 Service. But after two bad Gunsmiths (if you can call them that) Im ordering my next XD with nights pre-instaled. Its fun shooting with low light at the range. Deffinatly a challenge!

$103.95 was the price for the sights, installation, and return shipping. I think it cost me $4 to ship the slide to them...so ~$108 total.

wow thats pretty damn good. i have been scared to trust a gunsmith with the sight install. i might be sending them some slides soon

If Springfield does it your factory warranty remains in effect. Whether they would not honor your warranty if someone else does the work is another question...but if they do the work there isn't any question. I was very happy with the work and the price. They originally told me 2-3 weeks and I had it back 8 days later.

We will work on any quality 1911-A1 style or XD pistol. We reserve the right to refuse to work on any pistol determined to
be of inferior quality or made unserviceable by any work performed by any other person.

We use your pistol as collateral while the custom work is being completed; so no deposit is required.

Parts installed will match finish of pistol unless otherwise specified by customer.

Please remove all items not necessary for the custom work; for example gun rugs, bushing wrenches, etc.

Please DO SEND any magazine and/or specific ammunition that will be used in the pistol.

Payment may be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cashier’s check, money order, or personal check.
(Custom work or complete pistols, which are paid by personal check, may be held up to 21 days before shipment of the
firearm.)

All work order changes on complete pistols or upgrades will be assessed a charge of $25 per change and could delay delivery
of the handgun. All change requests, for custom work or complete custom pistols, must be submitted in writing and be
signed and dated by the customer.

Return shipping and handling is not included in Springfield Custom pricing. An additional charge of $25 will be made to the
order for return shipping by Federal Express overnight shipment of the firearm.

We recommend shipping to Springfield Custom by an insured shipper, such as UPS or Fed Ex. Ship to: Springfield
Custom, 420 West Main St., Geneseo, IL 61254. Your custom work will not be scheduled until we have received the
firearm and a signed work order form.

Due to Federal government regulations, customer’s firearms must be return shipped to the address from which they have
been received. (If you have a change of home address during the time your pistol is in the shop, Springfield Custom must
receive a written request with the new address, serial number of the pistol, return authorization number, and customer’s
signature.)

Estimated completion times are just estimates. Due to scheduling, work flow, and other events beyond our control, these
estimates are subject to change. We will do our best to quote you a reasonable time frame for completion of your custom

pistol or work.

Just to add...they don't add $25 to your bill for return shipping if you only ship them the slide. If you ship the entire gun then they will add $25.
