Good deal! 3 mags and holster really make it. You won't be sorry, it's an awesome gun that most likely won't fail on you. You'd be hard pressed to find a gun for $385 that is built as tough as your XD.

Great deal on the gun, .40 is an excellent defensive choice!

That's an awsome deal, and there are alot of people who love the .40's around here. The only thing you wont like is how much it takes to keep it fed!

Kinda funny, I just bought a slightly used XD40 3" sub compact with 2-9 rnd mags and one 12rnd mag, manual, and brush for 359.99. With 100 rnd of WWB target and 20 Rnds of Federal Hyrashock and the IWB holster it came out to 481.something.

Thumbs up

Niiiice. I hope I can find a deal like that when I get my piece! I don't mean to hijack your post, but I had a semi-related question. I don't have a ton a money to spend on a gun, but is it worth the extra money to get a new XD with the Springfield warranty? I have seen a few used XDs here and there in stores and most are them are significantly less expensive than their new counterparts. It seems like most people who get XDs tend to hold on to them, I was asking the guy at the shop and he said of the 3 used XDs they had, 2 of them were trade ins for new XDs. Is it going to end up costing me more if I have to pay for repairs on a used gun or should I just go for a new one with the lifetime warranty?

Springfield's warranty is a lifetime warranty that covers anybody that owns the gun. Springfield is a great company that has top notch service.

DO NOT BE SCARED TO BUY A USED XD

"Springfield, Inc. warrants to the initial retail purchaser that the products it sells will be free of defects in workmanship or material during his or her lifetime as long as he or she owns the product." -Warranty Card

I thought that meant it only applies to the original purchaser. maybe I just dont understand the wording of the document?
