Grip take on a SC

Just installed Grip tape (cut-outs) on my 40 SC. I'm hoping this might help with some issues I have holding on with my big hands.

My 40 SC is for CC only so I also purchased an extra 9 count mag for back up.

Time will tell if this will work

The grip tape to me would do a few things besides adding grip control... Make your shirt ride up high on you since it will grab the shirt and it would rub against your skin. Let me know how it works out.

Your quick Speed racer211. Walking around the house I have already notice the shirt snag. I'll see how this effects other types of shirt materials.

I'm thinking either Pachmyr or Hogue grip sleeve would work better. I have Pachmyr on my.45 service and no problem with snagging. I have a sleeve on order for the 9sc.

I have skateboard tape on my IDPA gun, and it eats me alive when I try to conceal it, in real life. I used the rubber tape on my SC; much better.

for concealing, look for a holster that has a sweat guard next to the skin. I make my own holsters and this was something I started using after noticing some of the better IWB holsters incorporating it. It made a huge difference in comfort.

hockey tape. it works well for me. won't scrape your hands and and won't cause your shirt to ride up. it gives me a little extra grip without the bulk.
