I realize I'm on an XD forum, but everyone here is usually pretty objective. If given the option between these two firearms, which would you pick and why?

I played with a bunch of .45's today at the gun show but the deals weren't good enough to buy. I'm stuck on these two right now, even though I'm yet to feel a XD 45 compact.

as far as .45s go..I'd go FN-45. For nothing more than it looks cooler.
I like my 9 and .40 in xd though

I see you already have an XD, HK makes a nice weapon I would go with the HK. If you find you dont like it you can always trade the HK for the XD

I like the FN-45's but want to wait until they are out and read good reviews from owners. I did play with one at the gun shop and liked it alot, I am left handed and they offer more features for us, the few. Plus my hopes is the price will go down, priced over $600 locally ($659+tax I think)
I paid less than $500 for my XD before tax and $10 background check
actually I paid more for my FNP-40 but feel I got a better gun in the XD,
stupid on my part

My choice was an XD .45 because of the personal reviews.
the mag release is ambidextrious on XD
