Another Duracoted XD thread?
Yeppers!
I just got my XD 40 4" slide back from James(Springfield Armory XD and HS-2000.com). He installed a Heinie Slant-Pro rear along with a HI-Viz front. I really like this combo. He also did the Duracoat. The color is a custom match that's between a tan and a brown, more of a Khaki. This gun also has a Powder River trigger mod and an overtravel screw through the trigger bar,as well as a polished guide rod(stock). IDPA goodness! Enjoy the pics!

Very nice!
I'm usually an "all black" or "all stainless" guy myself, but that actually looks really good. Very nice choice in sights. |

I don't know about you guyz but I like the kinda weird wear pattern on the top of the chamber with XDs. It's kinda like a Celtic rune or something. With enough wear I truly believe it will say "glock is dead" lolol
