My First XD
Well after waiting longer that I really wanted too , I picked up my first XD this week. I got an XD-40 SC, I was looking for a CCW and the SC fit the bill. I have been shooting for a number of years now, mainly shotguns so I am really excited about getting out to shoot the XD for the first time. I'm sure you guys have never seen a picture of one so here it is:

I've got a .45 service and 9sc. Love them both. The sc is a joy to shoot and carry. I almost got the .40sc, but wanted something cheaper to feed, so went with the 9.

congrats! I just used my XD9SC to pass my CCW. Great weapon. I got a Don Hume pancake holster and it dissappears on my belt. Can't say enough good about the XD9SC......Oh yeah, the 45 compact is looking pretty sweet......

I know that it is a full size but the XD just fits my hands very well. That is another reason I went with the SC cause I had the full size and it is way too heavy and big to carry concealed. I can't wait to shoot it although that might not be for a few weeks. |
