XD45 acp too large to carry...
So i already have an xd-45 and i was thinking about carrying it, but would it be too large. Should i buy an xd40 sc. What is the best concealed holster if i decided to carry it. I love my .45 and i shoot very well with it and most of all i trust its power to save me no matter what the situation. I have a 9mm and i would only reach for it if there was NOTHING else around. I don't really want to buy a 45 compact because i already have the service. I know there have been multiple questions in this post, but here's what it comes to...Should i go with a sc .40 for the size aspect, how powerful is the .40 in defense situations - stopping power etc., If i stay with the .45 service what is the best concealment holster for defensive situations?

found some stuff about holsters in other posts, but the .40 question still stands. If i shoot well with the larger caliber should i buy the sc .40 for the ease of draw/carry. How much will i give up in power?

40 is faster than a 45 but not as much of a punch..
the way i look at it.. 40= rock 45= brick still gonna hurt like a bitch... and as long as you can shoot your 40 as well as your 45.. youll be fine...

Yes but the main thing is i like the regular grip for regular shooting. it fits my hand perfectly and when i drop the magazine i am unfazed. with a 45c the difference in grip length makes me pause when i reload and such. Plus, when you look at the 45full it is more pleasing to the eye, in my humble opinion. Basically i would have to buy another 45 for the sole pupose of carrying and if I'm doing that already i might as well get a really concealable gun like a sc, right. Would someone drop with one shot center mass with a .40 the same as a .45. If so i think this tangent is solved.
