Question 10R, 2TN, V10, 2006, etc...Packages?

While doing some online searching for deals on a new XDSC .40 I came across these designations (10R, 2TN, V10, 2006, etc.) at BudsGunShop.com. Can anyone elnlighten me as to what they mean? Thanks.

2TN I would guess would mean "two tone" or "bi-tone".

I've wondered as well what the 2006 designation is.

10R might mean it only comes with a 10 round magazine only, making it legal in California.

V10 is the ported model: 5 ports on each side. See below.

I purchased one of the 2006 packages and it came with all the gear, paperwork, spent case, etc. as any normal XD would, but I think they call it that to indicate it is with the melonite finish.

My service has the SS slide and it is a "2006 package" I believe that is just when they were shipped out or something, but I could be wrong. Just so you know, they're going for cheaper on gunbroker than they are on budsgunshop.

10R= 10 round magazine (some states dont allow higher capacity magazines)

2TN= two tone (black/silver, Black/green, green/silver, Black/tan)

V10= ported ( if you look straight down the barrel of a ported XD...the ports are drilled on an angle "V shaped...5 holes on each side =10 ports aka "V-10")

2006 package= all april 2006+ XD's have a melonite coating on the steel parts to prevent rust, and come with the XD gear as a standard package.
