I only recently found a more relaxed (read: fun) way of spending my time on the range, mainly doing some IPSC stuff like, putting the gun on the table, wait for the friend to shout "Now!" and then pick it up as fast as I can, rack the slide, and quick 3 shots to the target. Then I turn towards the friend, my XD behind me, do the same, but this time I have to turn around first.

I also do the same thing but with the gun in the holster.

If there's no buddy around, I just wait for one of the shooters to start firing and use the shots as a GO signal.

It's pretty fun tough you have to be extra careful not to drop your gun or something like that.

How bout you guys? You fooling around too? With your XDs I mean..

I don't know if you can carry on you over there, if so practice from
a holster for Per.protection. If not maybe from under your table, unless
you leave your gun on the table top all the time. What ever you do to
have fun is ok, just be careful and buy a timer. Good luck
