HELP stuck slide

I have taken off the part that I think is the sear safety ( it links the trigger bar to the sear ). I put the slide back on to check something and now it wont come back off! I have taken off the striker plate and indicator but the striker wont come on out the rear. How do I get the slide off so I can put it all back together properly??

I take it you can't pull the trigger to drop the sear because your missing the safety leaver?
Use a small screw driver or something similar to push the sear down through the back of the slide ,as you pull the trigger and push the grip safety down. Where the arrow is.

Yeah I already tried that and it didn't work lol. I drilled out the striker pin and took it all out the rear. S'ok and working now, I just need a new proper sized roll pin to replace the drilled out one.
Thanks.
