How many is too many?

invest in a boresnake and I would just run it through ever 100 rounds or so. He said he was going to go to walmart so there's no chance of shooting lead. but I like the boresnake to keep things clean and accurate.

200-300 is a typical session for me. I have gone back to back days and put 300 through it without cleaning with no problems at all except the hour it took me to get it clean

I put about 150 or so through the XD9 yesterday, and was at least 100 the last time a month ago and did not clean it then. So I cleaned it last night and it was DIRTY! This was all jacketed stuff. The inside of the barrel however was the least dirty of everything, I was surprised.

Oh yeah I fired the 150 or whatever yesterday without any problems at all, except my own ineptness at aiming and steadyness LOL

As to range time, first mine is right off this 2nd story porch I have( it's limited with what I can do though), so I don't have to walk far. 2nd I was having such fun I had to go and walk back to get more ammo AND the XD40! I do not know if my neighbors were having fun though LOL, but no one called or came by to complain LOL ( too scared maybe? he he)- and I could care less if they were outside shooting all day either. Most were probably at work anyway.
