Trigger reset -- XD vs. Glock

I am told Glock has a shorter trigger reset. I measured my XDs reset as 6/16 to 7/16 of an inch. Anyone know what it is for Glock?

Glock's is very short (don't have a measurement, sorry). After you fire a round, if you hold the trigger in it seems to reset as soon as you let pressure off. You here a click and feel the trigger engage. It feels like your bypassing the double action feel and firing single action. It feels kind of wierd to me though because the Glock trigger is plastic. I can feel it kind of flex under pressure (or maybe I'm just imagining it), the XD trigger feels better to me even with the longer reset.

On trigger reset, the point goes to glock.

I know I could get it fixed....just that I need a new roof on the house and I don't have the scratch to spare.

I personally don't see what the big deal is. Unless you are in some sort of pistol sport that is timed, I am not sure I want such a short reset when I have to draw my weapon and I am all stressed and pumped up.

i do because of this...

a few times when shooting IDPA with my XD i didnt let the trigger reset so when i pulled again NO BANG. i would hate for that to happen if i needed it in a fight.

why would you want a long reset on your carry gun?
