Trusted XD gunsmith in Middle Tennessee?
Does anyone in the middle Tennessee area know of a top notch gunsmith with proven talent on the XD's? Maybe one you used, and would unquestionably use again. I know a few 'generic' guys that are good, but if I want to have sight mods, etc. I want my baby in the best hands. I hate to start a new thread, but wanted to see what you guys knew of.
And PM me if you don't want to broadcast personal info, etc. |

Been going to Guns and Leather for recent range time. Haven't seen any smith work done, but they seem to be fairly professional and their amount of business shows it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I installed my own mag release and am thinking about doing my own trigger job. The ammo is expensive enough.

Guns and Leather doesnt have a regular gunsmith as far as I know . I always hear them saying to go to this one guy , but I cant remember his name. But they do have their own "leathersmith" or whatever you call him . He is great with making custom leather. But no gunsmith as far as I know .

Guns and Leather has a guy they promote, Franklin Gun Shop, and Specialty Arms II are the only 3 I trust. I got a great retired gun smith in Memphis where I used to live. I have only lived in Nashville area for a short time and have had personal friends send me to all 3 of those places above.
