XD-9 service High Cap FTF

I purchased a Springfield factory 15rd magazine for my XD-9 Service. I usually keep the 15rd full with Speer Gold dot at home and use the 10rd magazine for every day shooting at the range. When I get home, I pop in the 15rd mag, release the slide - no problems.

The last two times I came home, I had a FTF with the 15rd magazine. The Speer Gold dot would jam just below the feed ramp. I filled up the 10rd mag with the Speer Gold dot and no problems.

What kind of problems do you think I am having with the 15rd magazine?

Thanks.

Are you constantly chambering and unloading the same round. I would think that if you are rechamering the same round that the tolerances of the round would be reduced and that could be your problem. Just a thought, but a thought nonetheless.

Any reply is appreciated.

I do rotate the rounds - unload and load, but I don't keep track of which one was at the top.

I'll grab the digicam and snap some pics.
