post count doesn't mean anything, kinda sad a 'newbie' knows more about this forum than you do.

maybe requiring a safe handling demonstration before sale of a firearm is a good idea:

Oh dear god.

Shut it all of you... you are all newbs/n00bs/whatever the latest spelling of a made up word that for some reason is a bad thing.

I for one have not seen any threads with the XD with thumb safety AT the shot show.

I was curious about that myself.

So I DID search.

I still didn't find it... and I for one am not going to sort thru 300 threads that may or may not contain the information I am looking for.

Ones ability to quickly criticize someone for not performing a search is astonishing.

He very well may have and met the same outcome as I did.

People like you (referring to the holier than thou low post count posters) are what make forums go bad... It keeps people from frequenting a board when they are criticized at every turn and lowers the overall quality of the content.

So thanks for that.

How about one of you guys with the awesome internetting skillz fetch me up a thread that has a picture of the XD with the thumb safety AT the shot show.
My forum searching skills must suck compared to yours and I feel so humbled by your presence...

Oh wait... regardless of how my searching skills are you guys failed to demonstrate even the slightest bit of courtesy and excersise your god like grasp of the vBulletin search function.

You just wanted to belittle someone for no apparent reason.

Good job...

Ease up, Tennessee boys...heckuva ride with the weather last night, huh?

I might get the warm-fuzzies about the thumb safety when conceal-carrying it, but the more i handle my XD40sc, the more i've come to trust my original safety features...

1. My brain, on alert

2. Then the grip/trigger safety, as a distant back-up to #1.
