Rear sights loose...how do I fix them?
Hi all,
I have night sights installed on my XD-9 (thanks again, Old School, for that group buy last winter)...but the rear one is loose and floating around. So...from what I've read, locktite is the way to go to fix it. But - Red or Blue? Also, what's the best way to apply it? Should it go on the gun, or the sight, or both? How much is needed to get the sight to stay in place? Thanks! ~mtd |

Tap the sight out and then at the left edge of the dove tail put some locktite in the dove tail then push the sight back in the dove tail and through the locktite. Cebter the sight and then wait about 24 hrs for it to dry before heavy shooting.
Both colors will work but red will be stronger. |
