6300+ rounds in four months with 100.0% reliability and not a spec of rust. What's not to love?

Love my stainless, I take care of my gun but I know since I wear it everyday, and my dog likes to lick it the stainless is holding up much better then a black slide would.

I refuse to have a shiny gun. Black as the innermost reaches of my soul are my guns.

With my easy to maintain stainless bitone what argument can even the most stubborn glocktalk "glocks are the only guns worth owning in the world" type of guys bring against my xd??? The finish? hell no! now wat?
EDIT: Ok... as much as the ignorance of some of those guys bothers me, i think i should add that my statements above were not to at all discredit the glock. Cuz i think both the xd and glock are great guns and i will not stoop to the level of those few and incite another useless debate.

I bought the Bi-tone because I thought it looked better than the all-black. I'm not a shiny kind of person, just liked it better.
I don't carry, so whether it announces its presence or not is not a concern. However, if and when you *must* use your gun for self defense, I don't think it makes much difference whether it's shiny or not. In any case, SS has been easier to maintain so far, and wear doesn't show as much as the black slide. BK |

i wanted an all black one, and the local shop called to let me know they had gotten a shipment of XDs in. Well, I gathered up my piggy bank and excitedly showed up to purchase a 4: blaxk XD, and they had sold the two they had gotten in on the first day! All they had left in .40 was a Bi-tone stainless steal. I fell in love. It is ridiculous. I love it!

I have the Bi-tone and I love it. All of the handguns i had owned prior to the XD were all black and it was cool but I needed a change so i went with the Bi-tone. I like how it looks. To me it looks real classy and it is a lot lower maintenance than black or OD XD's my some of my friends have.

bitones
Love the look of my XD-9 Service bitone, and the fact I don't have to worry about the finish. I'd like a .40 Tactical bitone next.
