Conversion Question

Hello All,
I am a new poster, but have been reading here for sometime.Any thoughts on why there aren't any conversion barrels for the SC models yet? I own a .40SC XD and would like to be able to shoot 9mm and .357 sig also. Its like having 3 pistols in 1. Well it will be ( I guess). It is for the 4 and 5 inch users. As popular as the SC models are, I really wonder why the conversions are so far behind.

Thanks

Very good question. I was under the impression that the conversions might be in the works for the sc. I sure hope so. Then it could be a 3 in 1 weapon. That would be great.

Everything for the sub-compacts is left behind.

I have even been told that there is no way to make an aftermarket recoil spring assembly by Wolff, because they said the barrel is too short.

If it's not possible... how the **** did IM Metals pull it off?

I'd bet that a conversion barrel is released before a recoil assembly.

When the conversion barrels are used in the service and tactical guns the recoil springs don't need to be changed?

TIA

Peace,

Nope. You should use the setup that you use with your stock barrel, whether it be the stock rod assembly, Don's Guide Rod, others.
