I don't put too much into that article since it was written by Chaim Stein. He is not well-known in the Gun industry as an expert of guns. He only peddles his SureSights.

I would like SA to do a torture test with real experts, not pretend ones!

You don't think they beat the ever livin' crap outta that gun???? Short of dropping it out of an airplane, how else do you want someone to torture it???

If I recall smaller bullets will retain more energy and velocity when traveling through water. bigger bullet = more friction and therefore quicker loss of velocity.

IIRC a .22 or .17 will travel farther in water than a .50 cal.
