adding to the XD family
Well I was naughty and found someone selling a used XD9 sc for 375.00, so I went for it. Keep in mind I live in Maryland, so that is a cheap price since new at a dealer it would run about 550.00+ sales tax+ stupid integral gun lock. This XD9 has about 1500 rounds through it ( perfectly broken in!) but the guy couldn't remember when he bought it ( new). Had little wear to it though. It does not come with the mag loader or mag holder and the holster is a hip paddle type. Comes with 3 mags, 2 10 rd , 1 the 15 or whatever rd extended one. Also had the stupid gun lock thingy required included in the price.

This guy also had 2 Don Hume leather holsters for 30.00 for both, look pretty much new, 1 iwb, the other owb. So I got them too.

Now I have to wait till next friday or so ( 7 days, but I have heard sometimes the state police dawdle an extra day).

Question:
On the right side ( ejection port side ) of the pistol at the top of the grip, just below the slide, does it just say "springfield inc. geneseo IL."? or does it say on a second line beneath it "made in Croatia"?

I don't know kaboom, I won't look at it again till friday weather permitting. The .40 4" I have now has both of those written on it and the fired casing bag says oct 27 2005.
