HS2000 used but great shape,have ?'s
I saw my first HS2000 in person today . I have never seen one before , but then again I never really looked for them .I was impressed . It was used but looked like MINT. THey wanted $329 for it . I was in 9mm . I have had an XD-40 and liked it . What kind of metal treatment does the slide have on the HS's? Is it Melonite or what? I am not sure what year this one is. Also is $349 a good price for it?

does HS2000 still make them here or allow import? I am not to familiar with them . Also what about the finish? Did the HS2000's have the rust problem like the XD's ?

The only difference between XD/HS is the title. It's the same gun manufactured by the same factory.

They are the same gun. XD in the US, and HS everywhere else.
Both early models had some rust concerns. Mine is a 99 model, but never rusted.

I'd offer...
Same price out the door. It is probably a good gun. You can also probably have the slide refinished with shipping for less than $100.

I dont want to buy a gun that I have to get refinsihed, unless it s really cheap. What price are you talking about? the original or something else? Last edited by Tercel89; 01-04-2008 at 05:52 PM. Reason: adding info |
