Any pics of SAs "Xtremeflague" Refinishing? - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

On the SA website theres the XD Custom Worksheet, and on the bottom of the 2nd page of the Adobe Reader download theres an option for "Xtremeflague" Custom refinishing of XD Slide...

So anybody got that done? I don't believe I have seen any pics of it?
If so could ya show us all where to find/see them, of post 'em here!
I love Camo'ed slides on all sorts of pistols... Dunno why.

Don't know for sure, but in the issue of American Handgunner that features the SA EMP, Clint Smith has an small article that shows an OD XD with a ghostly camo-outlined slide. (think tiger-stripe pattern, but only the outlines painted). If it ain't custom, perhaps this may be what you're looking for... (sorry, but couldn't find the actual picture online)

I know what you're talking about...The one where he does the hand held flashlight stuff for firing? Hrm.. that just might be it. I wonder why SA doesn't have a pic up on their site...

Lucky7, I don't have the mag handy to scan (as it also may be a copyright infringement), but here's a very rough photoshop of the pattern style/color combo as seen on Clint Smith's XD fior your reference:

Here's what I received from SA in April 07. I only posted the detailed picture of 1. Deb should be able to fix you up. I thought it looked pretty 'cheesy' myself, I'd try to Duracoat the gun myself first, but heck it's your gun and you might like them.

I do think the snow camo is cool, and if it matched the frame, it would be great in an Arctic environment.
